Painting birds from life

In November we have visited three different southamerican countries, enjoying its culture and nature. In Peru we stayed at Cusco. 3,700 m asl. We climbed to the Waynapichu and went over the Sacred Valley. Then we travelled by car crossing the altiplano to Puno, by the Titicaca lake, where we did a boat excursion. From there we travelled to La Paz, Bolivia, where we took the airplane to Asunción. Paraguay owns a wonderful culture and landscape, that includes El Chaco and the Natural Reserve of Itapu. A last jump took us to the Brasilian side of Iguazu falls. To sum up, plenty of occassions to sketch birds from life and many ideas for paintings that I will be showing to you in this virtual gallery.
